What you will learn: Course consists of both classroom instruction and hands-on training in the field. Participants will have an opportunity to set and run an actual working trap line. We will cover ethical and humane practices for responsible trapping; selecting and preparing modern traps & equipment; adjustments for targeting specific species; site selection for land and water sets; how to use baits, lures, and visuals; proper furbearer handling and processing; course also includes snares and cage traps.

**Majority of this workshop will be conducted outdoors so be prepared for all adverse conditions that may occur.

Trapper's 101 Advanced Workshop is a 3-day workshop. Meals are Pot-Luck, and based upon what dishes/groceries registrants bring to the workshop. Please bring your favorite meal(s) to share for all pot-luck weekend.
